Circa early 20th century
Gel coat, embossed and gilded postal for a birthday.
Outstanding example of how exquisite cards of the golden age / Edwardian era can be.
This was unstamped and unaddressed, but on the back is written simply "To Mary - Sister Libbie".
Presumably it was sent inside of a package or envelope, or even delivered in person.
