A flock of migratory birds stop to rest on a wire.
In Southern California, Cliff Swallows (Las Golondrínas) return to the Mission San Juan Capistrano from their wintering grounds 2000 miles away on or about each 19th March (St. Joseph's Day). The return of the swallows is celebrated in famous song "When the Swallows Come Back to Capistrano."

Although it is said that the famous swallows of Capistrano leave on Oct. 23 and return on March 19,
their dates of departure and arrival have been found to vary from year to year.
